Know what you have

## A binder makes everything look equal. The market never does.

Alpha or Unlimited. 1st Edition or not. The right printing, or the one that looks identical and sells for a fraction. Cardinal reads the difference in the viewfinder and puts a live number next to it.

The pre-grading engine

## It inspects the card the way a grader does.

Not one number from one photo. Cardinal reads the same four attributes a grading room scores on, separately, at magnification — and reports each one with the crop it was read from.

### Centering

9.5

Measures the border on all four sides, front and back, and reports the ratio. The most common reason a card misses gem mint.

### Corners

9.7

Each corner cropped and inspected for whitening, fraying and rounding — the wear you cannot see at arm's length.

### Edges

9.5

Chipping and whitening along every edge, including the ones a sleeve keeps hidden until the card is out of it.

### Surface

9.3

Print lines, scuffs, indentations and holo bleed, read across angles rather than from a single flat photo.

*[Image: Cardinal sub-grade breakdown with magnified corner crops]*

### Anyone can quote an accuracy percentage. We'd rather show you the corner.

Every subgrade comes back with the magnified crop it was read from, sitting next to the number it produced. If Cardinal calls the bottom-left soft, you can look at the bottom-left and decide whether you agree.

That is a claim you can audit. A percentage on a landing page isn't.

Before the envelope

## Grading is a bet you place blind.

You pay the fee, post the card, and wait. Weeks later a slab comes back with a **9** on it — and a 9 is worth a fraction of a 10 on the same card. Cardinal is the read you take first. [What decides whether a card is worth grading →](https://cardinal-app.ai/is-it-worth-grading/)

What a submission costs you

| Grader | Fee | Turnaround |
|---|---|---|
| PSA | $59.99 | 90–100 business days |
| CGC ★ | $20.00 | 90 business days |
| SGC | $50.00 | 40+ business days |
| TAG | $59.95 | 45 business days |

Per card, paid before anyone looks at it. Cardinal tells you which of these — if any — clears the bar on *this* card.

Cheapest open tier for a single card per grader, as of 2026-10-19. Grading companies change pricing and pause tiers without notice — check before you submit.

The whole collection

## Scan the box once. Know what the box is worth.

Every card you keep goes into a collection with a running total, an average grade and a week-on-week move. Sort by what's actually worth acting on and find the three cards in four hundred that deserve a submission slot.

## Magic, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh! and sports — in the same scan.

Nobody's collection is sorted by game. Cardinal reads whatever comes out of the box — Alpha-era Magic, WOTC holos, 1st Edition Yu-Gi-Oh!, a 1997 Metal Universe Jordan — off one catalog of 7.67M cards.

For dealers & traders

## The best collections aren't listed anywhere.

The good stuff comes out of collections that never reached a marketplace, because the owner didn't know what they were sitting on and never started the conversation. Cardinal puts the grade and the number in their hands — and what comes out the other side is supply that's already identified, already condition-read, and attached to someone who has decided to sell.

[Talk to us about supply](https://cardinal-app.ai/contact/)

- **Condition, not adjectives** Subgrades and crops instead of “near mint, I think” — before you quote sight-unseen.
- **Raw lots, already sorted** The bulk separated from the hits before it ever reaches your table.
- **Sellers who've seen the comps** Fewer fantasy asks, fewer wasted evenings, a faster yes.

Cardinal

## Every asset class ends up with a decision layer.

Stocks have Bloomberg. Real estate has Zillow. The hobby still runs on comps you looked up yourself and a gut feel about centering. Cardinal Engine — the identification, grade-probability and pricing intelligence under the app — is being built as the layer that closes that gap for the whole market.
